Quote of the Week
Instead of our usual quote of the week, we’re sharing a reflection from our beloved friend Tammy, inspired by the song “She Lost Herself Trying To Be Loved.”
The title alone says so much.
For Tammy, the song brought tears at first. Then strength. Then purpose.
It reminded her how easy it can be to lose pieces of yourself while trying to fit in, be accepted, or be loved.
But it also reminded her that we can come back to ourselves.
We can rise above the struggles.
We can heal from the heartache.
We can become who we were always meant to be.
And then Tammy shared this line:
“Rise with courage, heal with grace, and shine without apology.”
That is the message we’re carrying today.
Be strong.
Take the time to heal.
And never dim your light to be loved.
