Welcome to
Empower and Shine

We are a community of individuals from different backgrounds, across countries and continents, dedicated to inspiring and uplifting people of all ages. Our mission is to empower women, men, and children to become the most confident, strong, and inspired versions of themselves. Through our diverse experiences and backgrounds, we aim to spread joy, inspiration, and positivity to all who seek personal growth and self-love.

Whether you’re looking for community resources, personal stories of resilience, or motivation to prioritize self-care, we hope you find what you need here. Our blog features articles on various topics, including self-care for both women and men, finding balance in life, and inspiring journeys from around the world.

While we cherish our collaborations with organizations striving to improve education and end domestic abuse and sex trafficking (check out our partner pages!), our primary focus remains on you—the individual. We believe that by empowering and uplifting each person, we can collectively create a brighter, more compassionate world. We aim to create a ripple effect of empowerment and are so glad you are here! It's as simple as saying yes, join our "yes" team today!

Join us on this journey of empowerment and shine your light brightly!

Quote of the Week

“When you put good into the world, it has a way of finding its way back, always.”

                                                                                            — Joelle Lever

Launched in October 2025 through her work with Empower & Shine, Joelle created Love Bags, which are small pouches packed with simple feel-good items: face masks, eye patches, lip balm, moisturizer, candy, dental floss picks, Emergen-C packets, and positive affirmation cards and stickers. Many of the bags themselves are printed with uplifting messages. She distributes these to many people that are often under-appreciated in today's society.

Joelle is always quick to point out something important: the bags aren't really about what's inside.

"The bags are not about the items," she says. "They are about recognition." Read more about her work with Love Bags, and the way she has chosen to make a small yet powerful impact day to day in our new blog post, here!
